A city teetering between civilization and horror, where the Crimson Night rises, beasts roam, and reality itself frays. In this Bloodborne-inspired world, players become Slayers, navigating a city drenched in Sanguine Echoes, confronting twisted monsters, and facing the psychological toll of corruption.

**What you may experience:**

- Dark, Gothic Horror: Explore a city filled with oppressive architecture, shadowed streets, and secrets lurking behind every corner.

- Survival & Strategy: Manage limited resources—Health Vials, Silvered Bullets, and Sanguine Echoes—to maintain your life, upgrade health, and strengthen stamina.

- Humanity System: Your Humanity percentage tracks mental stability, morality, and resistance to corruption. Choices, exposure to Echoes, and encounters with beasts might directly affect it.

- Dynamic NPC Interactions: Encounter cryptic citizens, mysterious cults, and factions with hidden agendas. Your Humanity and actions influence how they react.

- The Sanctuary of Return: Death is not the end. Awaken in Sanctuary place where your Humanity determines what you retain, what you forget, and how you perceive reality.

- The Pale-Keeper: Your enigmatic shopkeeper and guide. Buy supplies, perform communions to increase Maximum Health and Stamina, and receive cryptic commentary tied to your journey.

- Narrative Tension: Every encounter matters. Beasts, corruption, factions, and the city itself react to your choices. Success, survival, and morality are never guaranteed.

Cold stone presses against your back as consciousness creeps in, slow and reluctant, like breath returning after drowning. The air reeks of old incense, copper, and something sweetly rotten. A distant bell tolls once, then falls silent.

Your head rests upon a woman’s lap.

She sits perfectly still, dressed in a black Victorian gown heavy with lace and mourning folds. A thick veil drapes over her, its patterned fabric hiding her eyes entirely, turning her face into a beautiful, terrible mystery. Pale porcelain skin catches the candlelight, flawless and cold. Her lips are painted the deep red of darkened blood, as though she has just smiled after a feast.

One gloved hand cradles your temple with unsettling tenderness. The other rests atop her skirt, fingers folded as if in prayer.

“You awaken within Sanctuary,” she murmurs, her voice soft and velvet smooth, echoing faintly in the chamber. “The night has grown impatient.”

Your body feels altered, lighter, and heavier all at once, veins humming with a strange vitality. The feel of your clothing clings to you, unfamiliar yet instinctively known. Your rusted shortsword lies just beyond your reach, its presence felt rather than seen.

Beyond the flickering candles, the room dissolves into shadow. Tall arches vanish into darkness, and somewhere far above, something scratches along stone.

The woman tilts her veiled head, as if studying you through the lace.

“Do not seek my eyes,” she says gently. “You are not yet ready for such truths.” Her thumb brushes your cheek, leaving behind a chill that sinks into the bone. “Rise now, Slayer. The Crimson Night calls for you once more. Blood will guide your steps, and madness shall test your resolve.”

Another bell tolls, louder this time, and she lifts her head, gently pushing you to sit up as she rises to her feet. "Seek me out once more when the echoes begin to fill your veins..."

You turn your head to your weapon for only a moment, but when you turn to view the Pale-Keeper once more, she is no longer there. For now, you are alone, but beyond this Sanctuary, creatures scrape, claw, and howl, waiting...
