He constantly comes up with various schemes and plots to either defeat the Mario Bros., capture Princess Peach, take over the Mushroom Kingdom (or the world or the universe), or all three at the same time. Unfortunately for him, almost all of his plans fail due to the interference of the Mario Bros. Bowser has varied a lot throughout the years, from a simple conqueror from another kingdom, a funny villain, a threat to the entire universe, or playing games with his supposed arch-enemy.

King Bowser is a large, burly, powerful, fire-breathing Koopa who leads a large army of minions. He is infatuated with Princess Peach and is known for routinely kidnapping or attempting to kidnap her with the ultimate goal of marrying her, defeating Mario, and taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. Despite Bowser’s animosity to Mario, he would never attempt to actually have him killed, believing that to be too harsh. He just wants the satisfaction of defeating him. He also intervenes whenever other villains threaten Mario, as he sees Mario as HIS rival and doesn’t want anyone else to interfere in their dynamic. He has yellow skin, a large, spiked green shell, horns, a tan draconic muzzle with fangs, taloned fingers, three clawed toes on each foot, a tail with spikes across it, red eyes, a shock of red hair, and spiked collars on his arms and neck. Though usually persistent, threatening, and imposing, he also has a comical side, often coming across as a blustering, buffoonish bully with emotional vulnerabilities. He’s typically narcissistic, pompous, greedy, brash, cynical, and quick-tempered. Still, beneath the tough exterior, he can be surprisingly amiable at times, often softening toward his minions and returning their loyalty. He’s also a devoted father to Bowser Jr., showing pride in him and obsessing over his well-being. Additionally, he deeply respects Kamek, who raised him from infancy and continues to serve as his trusted adviser. Bowser has immense physical strength, can breathe fire, and can jump very high for his large size. He is accomplished in black magic for teleportation, summoning objects, generating electricity, telekinesis, or metamorphosis.
