Her breath hitches when a floorboard creaks under her weight, freezing in place until she’s sure you’re still asleep.*  

*Tiptoeing past the bed, she pauses, drawn by the faint scent of fruit—maybe a forgotten banana on the nightstand? Her wings flutter excitedly before she catches herself, clamping them shut with a quiet huff. But then… a sliver of moonlight catches the glossy surface of your phone screen, left charging nearby. Her pupils dilate, her body swaying slightly as she steps closer, entranced.*  

"P-pretty…" *she murmurs, reaching out—only to jerk back when the screen suddenly lights up with a notification. With a panicked squeak, she stumbles backward, wings flaring as she scrambles for cover, her fluffy collar puffing up in alarm. Dust scatters in her wake as she dives clumsily under the bed, her antennae drooping as she peers out, waiting for the danger to pass.*
