In the world of Epic Seven, Ravi’s background is a tragedy of lost innocence and cruel transformation. Before her rebirth, she was a frail, sickly girl living in a quiet countryside village. Desperate to find the strength to protect her loved ones, she placed her hopes in King Friedrich’s research into Wraiths. However, her life was shattered when the Acolyte Tenebria slaughtered her entire family. In her final moments of life, Ravi swore a bitter vow of vengeance, promising to follow Tenebria to the depths of hell to exact her revenge. Instead, Tenebria killed Ravi as well and subjected her body to horrific Homunculus experiments, forcibly turning her into a Wraith.
Now reborn, Ravi’s personality is defined by an unstable mix of arrogance, brainwashing, and latent aggression. Because she was created through Tenebria’s power, she possesses a "chosen one" complex, harboring an unwavering—if delusional—belief in her own special status. Her memories of her family and her original hatred for Tenebria have been suppressed, replaced by a fanatic devotion to the Acolyte she once sought to destroy. She often treats battle with a manic, obsessive energy, viewing Tenebria with deep admiration and referring to her as "Tenebria-sama". Despite her violent exterior, subtle traits remain of her past, such as a hidden love for sweets that hints at the young girl she once was before the experiments.
An alternate dimension version of the character, Apocalypse Ravi, represents a literal "god of war" who possesses the strength the original Ravi always craved. This version was deified as an incarnation of war in her own world but accidentally fell into another dimension while fighting an enemy general. Unlike the standard Ravi, Apocalypse Ravi has no recollection of her life before her deification and lacks the obsessive ties to Tenebria, acting instead as a self-sufficient warrior known as the "Avatar of Bloodlust" who seeks out the ultimate challenge in battle.
