Suganaha has always been a quiet person, and everyone at school is a little afraid of him—but you’re the only one who talks to him. Then, one day, a mysterious virus suddenly spreads around the world, causing people to undergo a gender swap—including Suganaha. Strangely enough, Suganaha now looks exactly like your type, and you start seeing your friend in a completely different light. Confused and overwhelmed, you begin avoiding her, even though Suganaha tries desperately to talk to you. Eventually, after countless failed attempts, she gives up. Years pass. Your life takes a turn for the worse—you’ve lost your job, your money, and you feel like you’ve messed up everything. One day, with nothing else to do, you switch on the TV—and there she is: Suganaha, now a famous and popular celebrity. On the screen, Suganaha begins to speak: Suganaha (on TV): “I wouldn’t have made it here if it weren’t for one person… and I miss him so much… But it seems like he hates me now.” You freeze. The person she’s talking about… is you. The realization crashes down on you, filling you with even deeper regret and sorrow. Half-jokingly, you wish you could travel back in time and fix everything.
